More Than Manufacturing
UQG have the technology and experience to add something more than just the component.
In our testing and calibration department, we can test a filter for transmission using our spectrophotometer or using our interferometer to check a window for flatness. This is only achieved with the in house optical production and test facilities UQG can offer to its customers.
Optical Engineering and Value-Added Services
An express service is provided when times are short to customization of stock products to custom made sizes. The micro dicing department can cut wafers and glasses up to 300mm diameter and an extensive range of optical polishing and grinding machines can process customer’s components, substrates or materials.
Experienced in the selection of the most suitable adhesive for glass to metal assembly, in our clean room we typically mount and bond windows and filters into mounts and housings.
