UQG Optics Schott Bandpass colour glass filters are used to transmit a section of the spectrum and rejecting all other wavelengths. These high stability and durability filters join a region of high transmission (pass band) and shorter/longer wavelength blocking range (low transmission).
The filter glass is manufactured in different thicknesses which multiply the number of filter effects. By combining different filters together you can achieve additional filter effects.
Commonly used for chemical, forensic, medical and pharmaceutical applications. They are also a popular filter in R&D industries.
